Talking about something you do at the same time

Sentence pattern: Subject + 一邊 “yī biɑ̄n”+ verb, 一邊“yī biɑ̄n”+ verb 。

The above sentence pattern can help you to express two things to be done at the same time. Similar to the use of the word 一起， the word 一邊 should be put in front of the verb. The only difference is that one subordinate sentence should be added in this sentence pattern to express two things to be done at the same time.
Example: 我們可以一邊吃東西，一邊抽獎。 wǒ men kě yǐ yī biɑ̄n chī dōng xi，yī biɑ̄n chōu jiɑ̌ng。 We can enjoy our food while play lucky draw.

The above sentence pattern can help you to express two things to be done at the same time. Similar to the use of the word 一起，
